2001-2019

I am from Davidson, NC, and attended Pine Lake Preparatory where I was the president and co-founder of the Kiwanis Key Club and Food Club while also being the swim team member and manager my junior and senior year. Outside of school I was a recipient of the Girl Scout Gold Award and worked as a hostess at one of Charlotte’s best restaurants, Dressler’s Restaurant. Summers of 2018 and 2019 I worked at United Methodist Camp, Camp Tekoa located in Hendersonville, NC as a counselor.

2019-now

In August of 2019, I enrolled at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill currently earning my degree in Advertisement and Public Relations with minors in food studies and entrepreneurship. At UNC, I am a member of Alpha Phi sorority, the Ski and Snowboard team, and the student-led fashion magazine, Coulture. During the summer of 2021, I moved to Oahu, Hawaii, and worked remotely as a marketing intern for a food and beverage start-up, Food Haven Technologies Inc. I also spent a month in Iceland in 2022 as a volunteer at a Bed & Breakfast on the southern coast of Iceland. After Iceland, I worked as a fellow for Ketchum Agency under the food, ag, & ingred team. When I am not studying for upcoming midterms you can often find her working out, trying new restaurants, snowboarding, or traveling. Currently, I am finishing up my senior year and continuing to work at Ketchum Agency as an FAI intern.

Future

After graduation, I hope to live in a large market city such as New York City or London in hospitality marketing and social media strategy. While also continuing to travel around the world to experience the lifestyle of other cultures.
